With Bentley's 100th anniversary coming up next year, the Mulliner division is celebrating its founder with a special edition Mulsanne. It pays tribute to the company's founder, W.O. Bentley, and even contains an item from one of his personal cars.
The model is ordered with a standard Mulsanne, Mulsanne Speed or Mulsanne Long Wheelbase. It was inspired by a 1930 8 Litre Bentley owned by W.O. used as his personal car. Its influence can be observed throughout the cabin which includes a Mulliner illuminated cocktail cabinet, which has an opening window that shows an original crankshaft from the 8 Litre that is displayed inside.
W.O. is emblazoned in the shape of a B-shaped air vent on the chrome application across the back of the vehicle. the car's signature front grille, a front grille that is modeled following the 1930s-inspired Onyx color of the limited edition, and a chrome-colored application that wraps around the lower spoilers, left and right. The front grille is also unique, sporting an aluminum shell instead of the typical body-colored mesh as in the standard Mulsanne and including the Flying B logo as well.
The key box is decorated with Bentley wings and features an ebony lining. Key pouches are available to be purchased to complement or contrast the key box. The commemorative set includes the scale model in 1:18 and an aircraft-like "B" paperweight. It also includes an illustrated booklet that features never-before seen images of the original Bentley 8 Litre.
